At Just Pleachy, we take pride in sourcing the finest trees from top-rated nurseries and growers, ensuring you receive superb quality at great prices. The success of your pleached trees depends on proper planting and care, so if hands-on planting isn’t your preference, our expert planting service is here to make it easy. We work with trusted contractors and an experienced team specialising in pleached tree planting. Planting is usually carried out by one or two specialists, depending on the project.

At just £1,500, this service can be added to most tree orders. Our expert team can typically plant up to 15 trees in a single session. For orders of 15 or more trees, or for ultra-mature rootball trees, additional planting sessions will be required to ensure each tree is planted with care and precision. Larger, heavier trees may also need extra time and heavy-duty staking.

Getting Ready for Your Planting Day

To help the planting team do their best work, you’ll need to get your garden border ready before they arrive. Please make sure the area is clear, flat and well-draining, with no weeds, roots or old shrubs. The border should be at least 50cm deep, with around 100cm ideal if possible.

We can only plant directly into soil, not through slate, pebbles, membrane or decorative toppings. If we’re planting into lawn, we’ll use an auger to create round holes, which will disturb the grass. If your garden is on a slope, levelling it in advance really helps ensure the best result.

Please send us some photos of your garden. This helps the planting team prepare and plan ahead so everything runs smoothly on the day. If there are any access issues (such as narrow gates, steps or limited parking), please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

We Cover Most of the Country

Your trees travel with the planting team in the same lorry, ensuring everything arrives together, on time, and fully equipped with everything needed for a smooth and professional planting, including specialist tools like an auger.

Our planting team is based in Norfolk and covers most of England, easily servicing areas within a three-hour radius. For locations between three and five hours away, there is a £750 surcharge to account for the additional travel time. If you’re over five hours away or located off the mainland (for example, Cornwall, Scotland or the Isle of Wight), please contact us for a bespoke quote. We’re happy to explore options, no matter the distance.

Booking Your Planting

Planting is usually arranged within an 8-week lead time, but may take longer during busy periods. To keep things fair, we schedule jobs in the order they are received. Once your order is placed, our team will contact you to arrange your planting date.

When you place your order, you’ll receive an email confirmation and your payment will be pre-authorised. As this is a bespoke service, if we haven’t already spoken with you before your order, we’ll be in touch to coordinate the logistics before completing the payment.
