RHS Gold Medal! London Plane Parasol Trees Have Their Day in the Sun in A Garden of Two Tales
We settled in for a very sunny week at RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival 2025. Luckily, some of our trees had shade covered...
Standing proudly in A Garden of Two Tales were our London Plane Parasol Trees, supplied with help from our nursery manager, Chandler. Their broad, leafy canopies created a cool and inviting place to pause away from the Hampton Court sunshine.
Gold, Gold, Gold!
Designed by Daniel March and brought to life by the talented team at DH Studios, the garden was awarded an RHS Gold Medal, named Best Garden of Curiosity and won the People’s Choice Garden of Curiosity. A proper hat-trick!
We were lucky enough to be opposite the garden throughout the show, watching the crowds explore the planting and gather beneath the parasol trees. It was one of those gardens that made you want to stop, look a little closer and stay for just a few more minutes.
Did You Spot Adam and Frances?
Adam Frost and Frances Tophill also found their way beneath the leafy canopy while filming for Gardeners’ World. Seeing two familiar gardening faces chatting under trees we had helped supply was a genuine pinch-yourself moment. We may have watched that particular clip once or twice already...
If the trees caught your eye too, the very same London Plane Parasol Trees are now available to order. Perfect for bringing natural shade, architectural structure and a little award-winning Hampton style to your own garden.
